Athletes in training for South Eastern Zone competition

Antonie Smal is one of twenty-five determined and talented Year 7 and 8 athletes proudly representing Sancta Maria College at next week’s South Eastern Zone Intermediate Athletics. Competing in athletics has been a passion of Antonie’s since the age of 8, joining extracurricular athletics clubs at Sancta Maria College, as well as competitive clubs outside of school.

Antonie’s favourite athletics events are javelin and hurdles. Working hard towards his goals, he trains at least four times a week – each session working on different muscle groups to strengthen his body.

We wish Anotnie Smal and the other representatives good luck for the South Eastern Zone Athletics. May Faith be their Compass.
