The Sancta Maria College A1 team of Ryan Kuang, Oscar Ng, Henry Hoh, and Clive Luna had a convincing win in the first round of this year’s competition.
The boys won played their first tie against Pakuranga 1 on Wednesday to start the 2019 Term 3 Auckland Secondary Schools Badminton Tournament, held at Lloyd Elsmore Park. It was a dominant performance from the team, winning all six matches with big margins:
Boys Doubles 2: Oscar Ng and Ryan Kuang won 21-8
Boys Doubles 1: Clive Luna and Henry Hoh won 21-0
Boys Singles 4: Ryan Kuang won 21-9
Boys Singles 3: Oscar Ng won 21-10
Boys Singles 2: Henry Hoh won 21-4
Boys Singles 1: Clive Luna won 21-3
