Football Round-Up

1st XI Football Boys had a great result against top of the Table Pukekohe as they drew 3-3 to keep the boys in contention for a top 4 finish. The boys showed true character as they were 3-0 down at half time and came back to draw 3-3.

The comeback was completed by a well-taken penalty by our vice-captain Kenta Pritchard, a precision finish by striker Adam Dickson who made a run in behind the defence to slot past the oncoming keeper and the last goal was an own goal by an opposition defender who tried a pass back to the keeper who took a swing at the ball, completely missed and the ball just rolled into the back of the net.

A great game played by our 1st XI football boys who are now pushing for a place in the semi-final in Term 3.
