House spirit was pouring out of everyone on Tuesday during the house assemblies. The houses Kororareka (red), Akaroa (Gold), Waitemata (green) and Hokianga (blue) were all preparing their house chants for the competition on Friday at athletics day.
Kororareka has won the most house competitions out of all the houses since Sancta Maria College was first built which is why the new house captains have decided to team up together this year to take down the mighty Kororareka so another house can win. According to Akaroa’s house chant, “Akaroa is here to win.”
All students are eager to compete at different events on athletics day. But one question still hangs in the air, ‘Who will win the house competition this year?’
