As part of the World Religion topic for Level 2 Religious Education the Year 12 students were visited by a member of the Fo Guang Shan temple in Flat Bush to hear her speak about Buddhism.
Through a series of videos and PowerPoint slides the students were able to gain an insight into the religion and compare this to Catholicism. The presentation appeared to provoke the interest of many as, at its conclusion, multiple questions were asked and answers were given. Overall, the presentation was interesting and gave a great deal of information which the students can use for their upcoming internal.
