After an exciting season of netball, two junior SMNC (Sancta Maria Netball Club) teams placed 2nd in their category. The Year 7 Champs (7A team) and the Year 8 Flight 2 (8B team) were both at the HPNC (Howick Pakuranga Netball Centre) Prizegiving to be awarded their trophies.
There were 8 teams playing in the Year 7 Champs level and 6 teams in the Year 8 Flight 2. It was a stunning season with some nail-biting games.
Only the teams placed 1st or runner up in their category were invited to the HPNC Prizegiving. Each player got a medal and the team got a trophy. They look forward to playing netball again next year.
