The Peer Support leaders for 2017 spent time last week preparing for their role.
Through a mixture of games, activities, discussion and reflection they began their journey which, next year, will take them into the Year 7 and 8 homerooms.
Peer Support leader is a very important role and, next year, these Year 11 and 12 students will be responsible for helping our youngest and newest pupils settle into the College environment as quickly and smoothly as possible, assisting them to build positive friendships and become confident learners.
The Peer Support programme has been an important and successful component of pastoral care at Sancta Maria College for a number of years.
