Open Afternoon draws the crowds

The excited buzz of prospective students and their parents filled the classrooms and walkways of Sancta Maria College. It was our open day.

The visitors were guided around the school by prefects and middle school leaders and got the opportunity to have a look in classrooms, see some of them in action and meet teachers.

The science lab was very engaging with its interactive science experiments. The French and Japanese classrooms had great displays with the French having a spread of bread and cheese while the Japanese had students making paper cranes and more.

Jazz poured forth from the music rooms and a range of Exercise equipment was on display in and around the gymnasium.

It was a busy and informative afternoon which concluded with a presentation by our principal, Ms Moore, in the auditorium.
