On Wednesday the Under 15 Boys football team had a friendly game against Papatoetoe High. Despite being down by two goals at half-time, Sancta Maria managed to score three goals in the second half to secure the game.
It could have been a more emphatic win if they had scored their two penalties. The home-game advantage sure played its part when other students came down to support – what an atmosphere it created! Goals were scored by Luka Ropers, Dennis Tam and Jayden Lai to get an end result of Sancta Maria College 3:2 Paptoetoe High.
